Aftenposten, one of the major daily’s in Norway, choose the norwegian Invoice Scanner as “App of the week” on November 5th. From time to time we hand out promocodes to our apps, hoping a little free love will help spread our apps. Many times this is what I get back as a response: “Thank you so much for the promocode, but now what?”
For a long time I though you had to redeeem (as it’s called) a promocode through iTunes, and that is what I told people. Accept my appologies because one day I stumbled upon the redeem buttom on my iPhone and that makes everything a lot easier.
To make amends for spreading such untrue knowledge I have made a “How to redeem an app” page you can use or share if you get the same question.

You come home and find an invoice in your (paper) mailbox, what do you do?
If you are a good follower of David Allens Getting Things Done (GTD) you put it calmly in your physical inbox. If you are not you might drop it whereever you see fit – kitchen table, hallway floor, office drawer or maybe in the fridge since you are starving coming straight from work.
In both cases there comes a time were you need to pick it up and decide what to do with it. If you follow GTD this is at your weekly review and you ask yourself: “Do it now?”, “Delegate it?” or “Defer it?”
